Minnetonka, Minnesota Minnetonka, Minnesota Minnetonka Community Center Location of Minnetonka Minnetonka / m n t ek / min-i-tong-k is a suburban town/city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States, eight miles (13 km) west of Minneapolis.

The town/city is the home of Cargill, the country's biggest privately owned company, and United Healthcare, the state's biggest publicly owned company.
