State of Minnesota. It is positioned at the junction of Minnesota State Highways 23 and 65.

Mora was platted in 1882. The town/city was titled after Mora, Sweden. A postal service has been in operation at Mora since 1883. According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 5.27 square miles (13.65 km2), of which 5.00 square miles (12.95 km2) is territory and 0.27 square miles (0.70 km2) is water. Mora is positioned 72 miles north of Minneapolis and St.
